1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop

$0.00

This 1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard is the best playing example I've had after the super meticulous refret inside the binding with '59 size and shape frets! The switch and potentiometers were already replaced when the seller reached out to us about it. The original frets were toast too, but I knew that these were issues that we could sort out easily enough. It's now a stunning player and collectible guitar with no finish work or neck repairs.

Measurements: 10.0 lbs / 4.55 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.73" / 43mm wide at the nut, 0.92" deep at the first fret, and 1.02" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup measures 7.72k ohms and the bridge reads 7.83k ohms.

Originality: All finish is original. All parts are original except: frets ('59 size and shape done inside the binding), potentiometers (1960 date codes), one capacitor, reproduction switch, reproduction switch ring, and reproduction switch tip. The case is a correct vintage case but not original to this guitar.

Playability: Spectacular! The neck is straight and action is low.

Condition: Very good with no breaks or repairs. Patina slightly visible on the gold finish and checking all over.

Included: An original era correct case but it is not original to this guitar

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
