1965 Fender Electric Mandolin Sunburst

Check out this original 1965 Fender Electric Mandolin! Better known as the Mandocaster, this example is finished in classic sunburst with a tortoise shell pickguard. This one is 100% original, from the pickup to the tuners, and comes with its original mini hardshell case. A rare and quirky Fender piece of history. 

Measurements: 3.0 lbs / 1.4 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.15" / 29.2mm wide at the nut, 0.81" deep at the first fret, and 0.98" deep at the 12th fret. The neck heel reads "JUL64" and the potentiometer codes indicate the 20th week of 1965.

Originality: This Electric Mandolin is 100% original inside and out!

Playability: Excellent. The neck is dead straight, frets have very little wear, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.

Condition: Excellent! There is a slight overspray of black finish on the back left side of the body, and the neck has typical finish wear.
