1964 Fender Jaguar Blond guitar

This was one of my favorite vintage guitars to ever come through the shop! The Jaguar model was introduced by Fender in 1962 as their flagship, top of the heap new electric guitar model. It was offered in a standard Sunburst finish but the price list also offered a Blond finish with Ash body or a Custom Color available from a chart. So, Blond wasn't technically a "custom" color for this model but it was an upgraded finish.

I'm always a vintage Fender guitar buyer but I'm especially looking for vintage Fender Jaguar guitars in all colors. You can contact me here to sell a vintage Fender guitar

Fender Guitar Buyer

The vast majority of Fender guitars in 1964 were made with an Alder body. The exception was only made for guitars finished in their translucent Blond finish. Blond was a standard color for Telecaster models but was an upgrade for just about every other model. We don't have production figures for 1964 from Fender so we don't know how many were made. Blond Jaguars are highly desirable and very few are offered for sale at any given time.

I have (2) Fender Mustangs 1965 that are white with red pick guard. I have owned them for 44 years and would maybe be interested in selling them. I also have the original cases that they came in as well.
