This vintage 1968 Gibson Trini Lopez Standard was a phenomenal example that came through the shop last year. I purchased it from its original owner outside of Denver, Colorado. The Trini Lopez Standard model is very similar to the Gibson ES-335 model in that it features a thinline body with solid center block, hollow wings, and two humbucking pickups. It differs from the ES-335 in that it has a non-Reverse Firebird style headstock with 6 tuners on one side, split diamond fretboard inlays, diamond style sound holes, and a fancy engraved plate on the tailpiece.
I'm always a Gibson guitar buyer, but I'm especially looking for Trini Lopez and ES-335 guitars. You can contact me here to sell a vintage Gibson guitar.
