The Gibson ES-330 was constructed with a fully hollow body of laminate Maple with two howlin’ P-90 pickups. Since it doesn’t have a center block like a 335, it’s lighter and more resonant. The P-90s are hot and have lots of output.

This guitar was lucky enough to get the rare Lyre Vibrola and black back and sides all straight from the factory. The tuners were at one point changed which required the holes to be drilled. I reinstalled original style three per side individual tuners with spacers to fill the void left by the old tuning machines. It had moderate play wear on the frets so I had them professionally dressed so now it’s perfect. The holly overlay on the headstock received some checking from the drilling, there’s two bumps on the treble horn and very light checking throughout. The original case is in good shape with the original leather handle.

This guitar is in great shape and needs nothing. It’s been locked up in its case for far too long. It’s ready to go back to work!
