Vintage 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb-Amp guitar amp

This vintage 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb guitar amplifier came through the shop a few years ago. The Princeton Reverb is my favorite vintage guitar amp because of its perfect size and volume level, swampy Reverb, and thorough tremolo tone. 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb~Amp with Vibrato! • Tube chart: PC (P=1966, C=March)
• Power transformer: 8316601 (1st week of 1966)
• Output transformer: -606-5-39 (39th week of 1965)
• Reverb transformer: --606215 (15th week of 1972)

Service: Grounded power cord, inspection from technician, replaced power tube, preamp tube.

Observed Non-original Parts:

• Speaker, 1970s JBL K110
• Various tubes
• grounded power cord
• Reverb transformer in 1972 (original Fender part)

• Very nice grill cloth and Tolex
• Some wear to the Tolex on the bottom below the back panel

Notes: A very fine sounding example of the desirable black faceplate era Fender Princeton Reverb! We love how the Princeton Reverb can handle thick cleans as well as overdriven crunch. The JBL seems to hold together a lot better than the original 10J4 Oxford speakers we usually see in PR amps.
