1966 Fender Jazzmaster Sunburst

This original 1966 Fender Jazzmaster stands alone from the rest and we are so excited to have this one in the shop. The original 3 tone sunburst finish is covered in very fine checking all over which creates an authentic and unique look and feel. The combination of dot inlays, neck binding, and a large headstock, is the ideal Jazzmaster spec in my humble opinion. This Jazzmaster came to us in 100% original condition, other than a re-fret and one missing screw in the trem. We bought it from the son of its original owner and it plays like a dream!

Measurements: 8.3 lbs (3.8 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.65" wide at the nut, 0.82" deep at the first fret, and 0.93" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 6.38k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 6.67k ohms.

Originality: This Jazzmaster is all original other than a re-fret and one missing screw in the trem.

Playability: Excellent. The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, frets have very little wear, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.

Condition: Very good with finish checking and nicks, dings, and scratches.

Included: The original case and tremolo arm are included.

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.
