1967 Fender Coronado II Factory Black

1967 Fender Coronado II Factory Black

$2,995.00

This vintage 1967 Fender Coronado II has just emerged from a local storage unit after decades of neglect. It features its original factory custom color finish Black! And is in spectacular playing condition.

Make and Model: Fender Coronado II

Year: 1967. Serial "198xxx", neck heel date stamp "19MAR67B" (19 = Coronado model, MAR = March, 67 = 1967, B = standard nut width 1 5/8"). Check out How to date a vintage Fender guitar

Measurements: 6 lbs 15 oz, neck depth at the first fret = .89", depth at the 12th = .90"

Condition: Worn, ambered, checked, corroded, but solid as a rock. The finish was buffed so there's compound in the thorough finish checking. It does not have any musty or smoky smell.

Playability: Excellent! It's in spectacular playing condition with a straight neck, working truss rod, and good original frets. It's a joy to play.

Notes: I was stunned to get a call locally about this guitar. I'm always a vintage Fender guitar buyer, but I rarely get the chance to buy factory custom color Black Fender guitars from the 1960s. The original case is in poor condition but does a good job of protecting the guitar. I'm confident you'll love this badass player/collector guitar.
