Make and Model: Fender Telecaster Thinline Ash

Year: 1969. Neck heel stamp: May 1969, serial 257xxx

Specifications: Single cutaway weight relieved Ash body, Natural finish mix of Nitrocellulose and Polyurethane, bolt on Maple neck with Maple cap fretboard, 25 1/2" scale length, two single coil pickups, white pearloid Thinline style pickguard. C neck shape. Neck width at the nut: 1.63", depth at the first fret: .87", depth at the 12th: .94". 6lbs 3oz weighed without the bridge cover.

Originality: All parts original except for rewound bridge pickup from Tom Brantley rewind (vintage correct inside and out).

Condition: Very Good. This Thinline Tele has been played but not abused. The only real areas of wear are the back of the neck and the fretboard. The nitro on the back of the neck has worn nicely.

Playability: Very Good. The neck is straight, truss rod works perfectly, and the electronics have been cleaned and adjusted. The frets show wear but it's still fully playable.

Notes: Just in from the son of the original owner! This Telecaster Thinline is nothing like the later 70s Thinlines- it's only 6lbs 3oz. It's everything I like for in a vintage Telecaster: clean but still has vibe, plays well, and has all the Tele bridge pickup tone. Even the case has survived in really nice shape with good condition leather ends and working latch springs. I'm confident you'll love this killer 1969 Fender Telecaster Thinline.
