Vintage 1966 Fender Mustang Red guitar

This 1966 Fender Mustang in original Red finish came through the shop a few years ago. I'm always a vintage Fender guitar buyer but I especially love the Mustang guitars from the 1960s and 1970s. Please contact me here to sell a vintage Fender guitar

Check out a few other vintage Fender Mustang guitars that have come through the shop:

1966 Fender Mustang Blue

1978 Fender Mustang Antigua

The Fender Mustang debuted in 1964 as a quality electric guitar at an affordable price. Leo's team packed it with cool features like the offset body design, tremolo tailpiece and two pickups with phase switchable wiring. It featured a slab body that came finished in Dakota Red, Daphne Blue or Olympic White which were custom colors for other Fender models. Since this model was in the student level camp, they just called them Red, White or Blue.

This Dakota Red Mustang is all original and ready to go on the road. It has a few bumps and nicks but it plays and sounds great. The only changes are a recent fret level/dress and a solder joint touch up on the jack. Other than that, it's all straight. Comes with the original case.
