There is some light lacquer wear on both sides of the fretboard next to the binding. No holes drilled for another tailpiece. There is one scratch on the back of the body and some light worming in the finish from a belt buckle.

Playability: Excellent! The neck is straight and the original frets have just been dressed. It’s a dream to play.

Notes: Just in from the long time owner since the 1990s! He owned a music store in Huntsville, AL and this clean example walked into the store in this exact case some time in the mid 1990s. The seller received it in a trade and wasn’t a musician so he decided to sell. It has stayed at the house and hasn’t been gigged while he owned it. He wasn’t considering selling but he is retired and downsizing. This guitar has never been available online until now. I’m confident you’ll love this 1963 Gibson ES-335TDC!
