Specifications: ~12 watts output, two 6SC7 preamp tubes, matched pair 6V6 power tubes, 5Y3 rectifier tube. One 12″ Jensen P12R speaker.
Originality: 100% original condition with no changed parts.
Condition: Excellent, near mint.
Playability: I recommend replacement filter capacitors and a grounded power cord before playing this amp. I have plugged it in and tested for about a minute. The original rectifier tube wasn’t working so I swapped in a vintage RCA 5Y3 rectifier and it fired right up. I’m including both rectifier tubes with it. Let me know if you would like for my technician to service it with new filter caps and grounded cord.
Notes: Clean clean clean! This tweed Deluxe has clearly been nicely preserved in a closet for the past couple of decades. Finding original filter capacitors is kind of like finding a 1950s Chevrolet Corvette with the original tires. Maybe now you understand why I haven’t serviced it yet! I would be happy to have it professionally serviced for you if you like. I’m confident you’ll love this clean 1953 Fender Deluxe!
