Vintage Guitar Effects Rig for today: Fender – Ibanez – Roland – Gibson

Vintage Guitar Effects Rig for today: Fender – Ibanez – Roland – Gibson

Here's my vintage effects rig from the other day: an original 1984 Ibanez Tube Screamer TS-9 into a 1974 Roland Space Echo RE-201. My 1965 Fender Jazzmaster was delivering the goods and my 1964 Gibson Scout was in charge of amplifying the signal.     The Space Echoes perform best with a clean boost or low gain drive pedal set clean in front of the instrument input. The new effects pedal was cheaper, less noisy, but most of all - less…Read more

I purchased it because it was a nice clean vintage piece with the original box and paperwork. I'm always looking to buy clean vintage pedals like this one. Do you have a vintage guitar effects pedal to sell? Contact me through my buying page to send pictures and get an offer…Read more
Vintage Ibanez JL-70 Jetlyzer Pedal

Vintage Ibanez JL-70 Jetlyzer Pedal

The Ibanez JL-70 Jetlyzer pedal was a modulation type effect pedal made by Maxon in Japan in the mid 1970s. The Jetlyzer featured both a phaser effect as well as a dramatic "Jet" effect. The Jetlyzer was available from 1975 to 1977. From the manual, "The Ibanez Jetlyzer is a new electronic effect for electric guitar, bass, organ, electric piano, synthesizer and other electronic musical instruments. It features a state of the art phase shifter along with a dramatic, sweeping jet plane effect that has many uses on stage and in the recording…Read more
