Gibson Les Paul Junior 1954

$1.00

Check out this super clean Gibson Les Paul Junior from the first year of production: 1954! It's clean, has very low miles, and plays like a dream. It's had no breaks or repairs, but we did replace the 1/2" bushings with full length (post-'56 style) bushings for perfect bridge geometry and intonation.

Measurements: 7.2 lbs / 3.25 kg total weight. The neck measures 1.65" wide at the nut, 0.92" deep at the first fret, and 1.00" deep at the 12th fret. The pickup reads 7.54k ohms.

Originality: All parts, finish, and solder are original to this guitar except the bridge post bushings! The stock bushings from 1953-1956 were too short which is what causes the leaning posts on many of these guitar. Gibson updated them to a full inch in 1956. We installed full 1" bushings on this one for perfect bridge geometry and improved transfer of energy to the body.

Playability: Excellent! The neck is straight, action is low, frets are in great shape, and the electronics have been cleaned.

Needs: The original tuner buttons are getting pretty tired. I'd recommend installing reproduction tuners to preserve the original.

Included: The original chipboard case is included.

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from refunds in the case of a return.
